Eairth is the harmony of Earth and Air, of masculine and feminine, organic and abstract, forever young.
A love story between New York designer Melissa Dizon and the Filipino Culture she rediscovered on a chance surf vacation. In 2007, Eairth introduced its first collection conflating organic materials harvested by indigenous tribes, pigments from natural ingredients like coconut husk, talisay leaves and indigo, hand-woven fabrics done in old style looms, organic fibers such as pina, abaca, silk, cotton and wool reworked in a gamut of beautifully imperfect pieces. Each one finished with an artisanal touch.
Effortless.. Eairth resonates a calm maturity of design that doesn't bank on trends, rather, it draws its strength from fundamentals of construction and draping, shifting to create directional pieces as well as "new classics".
Fascination with the indigenous and street culture has resulted in an inventive approach to creativity. Collaborating with local artisans, the result stems from careful research, using amalgamated process that have been handed down through generations. Eairth has become a label with a balanced aesthetic, clear in its design and true to its philosophy of "sustainable luxury".
